Car history: |
The car was a Sateen Silver 1962 Corvette with red interior and a white soft top. This car was a 327/300 horse 4 speed car. I imported this car from Canada to Norway in 2004, where the car got registered with norwegian plates. The car was in ok and drivable condition, but didn't handle that well, as is usual for these cars. I decided to restore and modernize the car, but keep the main look. Here is a link to the restoration project done by a norwegian restoration company: http://www.carsas.no/arbeid-1962corvette
Absolutely all technical aspects of the car has been improved and modernized. A LS3 custom designed engine has been installed, and custom made exhaust to mimic the side pipes effect that came with the C2. I chose to use some C1 1958 parts, as I liked the front and hood better on that model. The list is long, so I will update later. 5 years and many $$$ was spent on making my dream vision of the C1.
I have moved the car to the south west of France where I currently live. |
